So one of the things I suck at most is memorizing drug toxicities. If it's not somehow obviously related to the MOA (e.g. autonomics), I have a tough time remembering them. Perhaps we could start a concise list of some of the toxicities that are commonly tested, specifically from people who have already take the test and can remember what was on it???

on my test there was question where the patient was elderly and was losing his hearing and also had cancer. the question asked which antineoplastic drug should the doctor NOT give this patient. I picked cisplatin (because it is ototoxic).

aplastic anemia: chloramphenicol
which trimester is Sulfa/TMP safe to use: i believe after 2nd but double check that...i cant' remember for sure anymore
Vanc: red man syndrome: I have a pt. right now with this

those were the ones i was tested on...but others i see potentially appearing on the test are listed at the end of FA pharm section and I think that list is wonderful...add some more to it and u'll be set as far as toxicities/interaction questions are concerned...

hope this helps
G'luck🙂
