withdrawal from barbiturates can be fatal, was that not included as an answer choice in your practice question?
 
while we're at it, do ya'll know what layer is cut in a nephrectomy... somehow, i dont remember learning that in HY! and does SW ******ation begin from birth or later on in life (ie-highschool )? im guessing the prior....

you're probably right... what about PW ******ation? i think that's at birth also, something about 5p12q? :idea:

transverse fasica, but i would check that as this is all from memory....i put all my books away so i wouldnt be tempted to look anything up

If there is a pt with decreased TIBC, decreased iron, decreased HB and an MCV of 80 (I am guessing this is an anemia of chronic dz) who also presents with lymphadenopathy/wt loss... what does he have (is it an extravascular hemolysis or a prob absorbing iron)? I am having trouble figuring out the diagnosis.
