DSM 5 is suppose to come out in May of 2013.

For those of us taking step 2 late 2013, does anyone know if we are suppose to go by guidelines in DSM 4 or DSM 5?

from what i understand there are insignificant changes relative to the step 2 exam. and changes that are going to be (minimal) will probably be updated in review books.

There are definitely a few items I read in this article which could definitely show up on the test and could be different based on DSM4 vs DSM5.

I'd expect it to take a while for tests to be updated, especially because some changes are sure to be controversial. Probably wont make a difference for the next year at least.
