Does anyone know anything about potentially getting dual board certified in Radiology and Radiation Oncology. I am a third year interested in both (but applying for Rad Onc) and since they are both accredited by the ABR does that mean it would be faster/easier to get dual board certified. Any info would help. Thanks!

Fair question. I wonder why the Impressions account needs to be used for it.

I just wonder why you would want to do this.

Diagnostic Radiology residency is a long road.
Radiation Oncology residency is a long road.

Why would you put yourself through ~8-10 years of post-graduate misery, unless it were to benefit you somehow?

Do you actually envision that you'd be able to practice as both a radiation oncologist and a diagnostic radiologist? To do both, your earth would need to have 48 hour long days.

Seriously, unless you're going to DO both Rad Onc and Rads, there's no sense in studying both. Explore both fields with your elective time, talk to people, and decide what suits you best.
