During my senior year of high school, I enrolled in a Dual Enrollment Program at a community college. I took a full load of college classes (12-14 units per semester). When I graduated high school, I did 2 more years of community college (I had to transfer CC's because I moved) and 2 years at a university.

Does my dual enrollment year count as my freshmen year of college? Even if I was technically a high school senior at the time?

Also, can I list EC's I did during this year? I know it advised that you shouldn't list activities during high school, but I'm confused whether this qualifies since I was enrolled in college full-time.

Thanks!

Those grades will be factored into your GPA when AMCAS calculates it.

Generally I don't think I'd list ECs that you did before you graduated HS, but for particularly major things I think it's ok to list them.

From the AMCAS booklet:

 Assign High School (HS) status to college-level courses taken while you were in high school, regardless of the physical location of the college-level course. This does not include AP, Exempt, or CLEP credit.
 Assign Freshman (FR) status to Advanced Placement, Exempt, or CLEP credit awarded when you first entered college.

ECs during this time would be considered from the HS years and should not be listed unless they continued into the college years.

I took courses while in high school, and they became my dual-enrollment courses with fully accepted, transferred courses.

When I add a dual-enrollment school, what major do I declare?
When I add a pre-college at a univ, what major do I declare?

Does it remain as (1) "no major" or (2) "pre-college" if the program I attended and its transcript states my major at the time as pre-college, or (3) something else?

The two schools's transcripts where I "dual-enrolled and pre-colleged" says nothing and "pre-college" as my majors.

Thanks for any reply.
