Which looks better for medical school application?

5 year Masters + single Bach major
vs
4 year dual major

Or overachieving....

4 year masters + single Bach
vs
4 year dual major.

You only do a masters to either improve your grade or build enough credentials to apply to MD/PhD.

In the end, what matters is your GPA. They're not going to give you any leverage for a poor GPA if you were double majored vs uni majored.

I recommend just graduating as soon as possible whilst doing as much ECs as possible...

Also, it's bacc major for baccalaureate, unless you're interested in Bach's music. If that's the case, you're good with either one, but iirc @Narmerguy stated that after Bach (aka a "post-Bach") came the classical period, so you may enjoy more! Musical interests are always a plus for adcoms.

Indeed, though I really appreciate this opportunity to share my favorite Bach piece, a string quartet from The Art of Fugue.

Still beautiful today...can we ever truly be "Post-Bach"?

I realize that as I spend more time on SDN, my appreciation for classical music grows astoundingly, so I thank you for that.

And imo, the classical period is better (i.e. has more amazing pieces) than the baroque period. But I digress!

Haha I love that SDN can become a forum for art and cultural exchange! I honestly think I'm more of a Romantic period kind of guy, but I can understand why you prefer classical to baroque.

Alright, just checking... got the idea. ECs ECs ECs.....

As for my taste in music, although I seriously love this stuff, I don't know too much about the history, maybe I should change that! My personal faves are New World by Dvorak and St. Saens Carnival, and Scheherazade
