i hear utah is requiring this
are all casper schools requiring?

and secondarily, i hear there are limited dates for casper, are there also limited number of spots per date? or can everyone sign up for the same exam at the same time?

Oh also, you can sign up only for Casper. I think after you take Casper, an applicant gets a follow-up to schedule Duet. I'll check what Acuity Insights wrote in their article.

Once you have booked a Casper test, you will see a prompt to complete Duet in your Acuity Insights account if one or more chosen programs require it. Full instructions are provided, including the test’s purpose and format, when you access Duet.

Casper slots are limited, but they have high capacity. Duet can be done whenever and has no specific time slot.

From the Acuity website regarding Casper slots:
Test time slots can accommodate a very high number of applicants, but occasionally they do fill up. If that happens, we may open additional time slots to accommodate everyone who wishes to take the test, however this is not guaranteed. Trying to reserve your Acuity Insights Assessments close to its Casper test date may require more flexibility about when you take your test.

Regarding Duet:
Although you can take Duet anytime after booking your Casper test, it should be completed within 14 days of taking Casper to ensure your program(s) can consider all your assessments together.
