Hi everyone!
Would anyone be interested in starting/ joining a Facebook group for the Duke DPT class of 2025?

How long did it take you to hear back? I applied maybe 2 weeks ago but am super anxious since I haven't heard anything yet :/ Duke is a huge reach for me, but I would love to attend.

Hi! Congratulations! So basically the interview process is a virtual tour, a Q and A session with former and current DPT students, two 15 minute individual interviews and one team based learning activity where they put you into a group and ask you a question and everyone has to work together to answer it. There are no right or wrong answers. I was extremely nervous going into the interview but several of the professors and admissions board members said that they were nervous as well and to just relax and be ourselves. They only have 1 or 2 questions prepared for you in the individual interviews and again, there is really no right or wrong answer. I second guessed myself constantly after the interview but reminded myself that I did my best in the moment and stayed true to myself and I ended up being accepted! You will do amazing! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Such great information! Curiously, about how many people are in each group?

Just received an interview invitation for Duke. Would love to hear from others who have interviewed this cycle with how it went/any advice!

Does anybody know if Duke has sent out any rejections yet? I applied 9/17 but haven’t hear anything yet.

Applying to Duke is also a long shot for me since my GRE is subpar but I’m hoping they are still sending more invites out!

Has anyone who interviewed on November 19th heard back? I know they said it would be delayed because of the holiday, but I figured I would‘ve heard back by now…

I think we will probably hear back by the end of the week. Just a hunch but I haven't heard anything yet.

Do you mind me asking if the questions in the individual interviews were behavioral questions or more generic "tell me about yourself" questions?

Honestly there were only like one or two questions and maybe more behavioral/situational? They were fairly short like 15 min or so and it wasn't very structured so you could talk about whatever you wanted to!

Sorry to bother you about it but have you heard back yet? I am so nervous because it sounded like people from previous interview days got a call on Thursday and email on Friday but I haven't gotten a call yet...

No worries! I haven’t heard anything either and am also mildly panicking lol. I looked back in these forums and sometimes it seems they don’t notify until Saturday. I am hoping that is the case this time!

Ahh, well it's a relief that we're in the same boat and I think we'll be fine! It's so hard not to get paranoid but in reality we have no idea when they'll notify us HAHA thank you for the reassurance.

I heard back today and got in, hope you get positive news too!!!

Has anyone heard anything from Duke recently? I still haven't heard anything and I am getting nervous :/

I was accepted back in December and I actually just recently toured the campus. During my tour, I actually ran into Dr. Clendaniels in admissions and he mentioned something about how he was calling people who hadn't paid their deposits yet to get a clear answer from them. He said he was calling people off of the waiting list as soon as people turned down their spots. This led me believe that they are getting close to filling their class if they are already calling people off the waitlist. I don't want to scare you or give you false information, but that was just my interpretation. I just turned down my spot, so I really hope it goes to you or someone else who's still waiting.

I JUST got an email saying that my app is still being considered. Kinda late tbh especially since their is whole the interview process. I was expecting it to be a rejection email.

Ditto on having the same email. This is odd
I got the same email as well haha. When did you guys submit your app, I did mine pretty close to the deadline which is why I’m guessing my decision is so late with the rolling admissions.
