hello everyone,
just wanted to let you know that duke has gotten the ball rolling on interviews now. hope to see you there. anyone have any special information about their interviews? thanks!

If have a question. I know Duke requires CalculusII. Now if you haven't taken it by the time you apply will they still grant you an interview? Well I hope so.

to anyone who has interviewed at Duke or know about the process, would you recommend the local or regional interview? on Duke's website, it says: "Although you can request an on-campus interview if desired, students interviewed regionally have the same or slightly greater acceptance rates than students interviewed on campus, and all accepted students are later invited to Duke campus for a "Second Look" weekend."
I would like to save the $300 for the flight from Cali, but am conflicted on what to do!

P.S. skhichi, I am not sure about the calculus requirements, but judging by your profile I dont see why it would be a problem.

I'm just happy to get an interview!! I haven't looked at the site yet! I'll go do that now! Yay to everyone who got one, Congrats!!
Sasha

First day of interviews for Duke is tomorrow.

But keep in mind, they are still processing applications and have not completed sending secondaries yet; so if you haven't gotten an interview offer, don't worry too much about it.

Does Duke send out interviews in waves, or do they send them out continuously as applications are reviewed?

Has anyone who was complete by the middle of August NOT received either an interview or a rejection? I'm wondering how long Duke will hold us in limbo.

Edit: Complete by the middle of AUGUST, not the middle of SEPTEMBER, as originally stated.

I am in this category...I was complete by the 6th I think.

For those that have received interviews, when was your secondary application to Duke complete?

Thank you!
