Any comments on the surgery program at Duke?

ask around at your home program. Duke doesn't hide the fact that they're malignant. Plus you get to wear a short coat and white pants as an intern. However, you can get a terrific fellowship from Duke. Depends what you're looking for out of a residency.

It's one of the best programs out there. Pick your fellowship when you finish. Highly competitive this past year - 1000 applications for 7 spots.

Are you thinking about doing the so-called "decade with Dave"? That would be the only reason I'd consider going to Duke.

Kind of like someone who would work in a psych ward? :p
