Dunce cap on the wards

Anyone been made to wear a dunce cap on the wards?

A local attending here is known for forcing students to do this. He starts the rotation with a pimp-session. The dumbest student must wear the dunce cap and sit in the corner the rest of the rotation. He also frequently refer to med students as "******s," "*****holes" and "douche-bags." My friend's (class rank #6, didn't get the dunce cap) eval read "This person does not belong in medicine. I wouldn't recommend her for any job - anywhere. Ludicrous the admission committee didnt weed her out." (quote from memory)
