During the 15 min break- what do you do?

i just ate some cookies that i had in my locker and drank some water, then went in about a minute early to get it over with!
 
I came back early and started writing formulas down on my scratch paper, I don't know if this is allowed but no one told me anything.

Yes, the break is yours to do whatever you choose.

I suggest a quick bathroom break to ensure you don't get the pees during the secong leg of the test. It is also a good idea to get away from the monitor to give your eyes a rest too.

Drink: not too much caffiene as it will make you pee and possibly make your heart race, you are under enough stress as it is.

Food: nothing experimental here, eat only things you have eaten before that fill you but not weigh you down or bloat you. I ate a Payday candy bar during my break.

Focus: during the last five minutes of my break, I simply sat in front of the monitor and stretched, let my mind run free and visualize tearing through the next section.

The day before: make sure you do not eat anything new or experimental, and nothing AT ALL containing mayo. I would also suggest not eating out at all, only food from home. You do not need food poisioning the day before your DAT!!

Don't overthink this. I would recommend you:

1. Take a potty.
2. Eat something. Contrary to popular opinion, I think a little caffeine is helpful...coke is good.
3. Look over a math formula sheet. Not very in depth, but just enough to get into the right mindset.

I did all of the above and still got back a couple minutes early.
 
I ate a peanut butter sandwich that I had brought from home... which I eat for pretty much every meal (but that's another story)

went to the bathroom, then went to the water fountain and had a nice long drink

came back and just started RC early - had about 5 minutes left in the break.
 
Rest room, quick snack from CVS or Walgreens. Get some fresh air.
 
I'd suggest to go to the bathroom even if you don't feel like you need to. Pee whatever you can out, haha.

Eat a snack and drink something, something energizing like a power bar, but make sure it's something you know sits well in your stomach. I had a granola bar and vitamin water.

I didn't go back early and do formulas, etc. I don't know which ones better for you, but I suggest you take a moment to get a breather and try to relax.

if you decide to take/drink caffiene i would eat something salty in order to prevent you from having to pee. (gotta love that ADH 😎)

i personally eat a cliff bar (amazing for filler food - good fiber, protein, and CHO mix, and nutrient-rich as well)....and i drink a gatorade (citrus cooler is my personal fav 🙂)
 
Crack a half dozen raw eggs into a tall glass, swill it down in front of everyone, casually wipe your mouth off on your sleeve, throw a couple of right-hooks and jabs into the air, and then go back to your seat.

Thanks everyone for the tips! Today during my 15 min break I had some bananas and that citrus cooler gatorade (thx bigstix) which was actually kept in the freezer!! The lady was kind enough to allow me to put my drink in their freezer! Lovely taste!

and I actually did 3 pushups because I was so revved up..ppl started looking so I stopped.
