During the year, which board review books did you use?

I'm about to start MS2 and was wanted recommendations for review books to use with my classes (Micro, Immuno, Path). Big Robbins, Robbins Review, Lippincott Micro, BRS Path, RR Path??

oh yeah.. my first post!

class tends to use a set of review books along with the big books that includes:

FA
HY neuro
Gol rapid review path plus audio

then for boards use some of the ones from first year

BRS physio
Rapid review biochem
flashcards
whatever

I read through Goljan Rapid Review Pathology and Clinical Micro Made Simple. I also listened to Goljan lectures as we went through the year, but not during my board study period. I also used FA all year.

For practice questions I used:
Robbin's Review of Pathology
Pretest Pharm (too easy, but good to keep names straight)
Katzung & Trevor's Board Review book (has text, but I did questions only)
Pretest Micro (too easy...flipped through the virology section mostly)

I didn't use any big textbooks. However, our library has Robbins online (as well as a much of other textbooks) that I used occasionally for reference. If you have time the Robbins atlas is also good to flip through, but Robbins has all the "classic" photos you'll really need.

FA for quick summary of everything

RR Path + audios + Robbins Question book + BRS Physio for the particular system we are doing in path (knowing the physio helps understand the pathology and it also is a review for MS I)

MMRS + MicroCards

HY Neuro
