Hey, so what is present at the other ones?

I have always had problems with questions like these.

Which of the following is NOT true about the role of progesterone in the female reproductive cycle?

a) It causes follicle maturation and estrogen secretion
b) It causes maturation of glands in the lining of the uterus
c) It suppreses release of FSH and LH?
d) It inhibits release of GSH
e) non of these

It is a but I dont understand this one either, please explain..........

I need to understand this and I just quite cant

Ans is A because it is FSH that causes follice maturations and estrogen secretion. Shoudnt choice C say "it inhibits release of GnRH " not GSH??
Progesterone does all of b, c and d.

Metaphase 1
Interkinesis
Prophase 2
Anaphase 2
Metaphase 2

which one is it? please explain

It is A. First off, u rule out choices C, D, and E because they involve meiosis 2 which has no tetrads in the same nucleus at any stage.
You rule out interkinesis because this is the stage where the cells are resting and enter meiosis 2- it is also called interkinesis 2.
