Does all DVM/Ph.D join degree program pay for DVM tuition? Does anyone know? I was under the impression that NIH pay for it, but I'm not sure anymore....

It's different at every school - here it's a fellowship that pays for both, but at CSU for instance they only pay for the PhD portion (however, they do allow dual degree students to get in-state tuition after one year). At Cornell they reimburse you for the DVM portion upon successful completion of both degrees IIRC. This is stuff you really should research before you apply to schools. 😉
