Hey guys,

Has anyone ordered the online AAMC tests from E-MCAT.com? If so, we do get to keep the tests indefinitely, or are there restrictions such as only using the test once, or only having access to it for a certain time period?

Has anyone purchased the online AAMC's from E-MCAT.com? If so, do we get to permanently keep the tests or are there stipulations such as only using the test once (like for the SAs), or only having access to it for 3 months or what have you (Like Chad's videos)?

I think you can use #3 forever... The others are valid for 1 year...

I can be wrong; but I think e-mcat.com is AAMC.

It probably is the server separating the business side & handling the procurement and users support like FLs access. It may be sub-contracting out to the third party handling it or doing so internally.

Either way, it is not the same business front-end as we see but it is still part of AAMC.

So,no copy! sorry.

AAMC #3 completely unrestricted
Other AAMCs can take as many times as you want but test expires roughly a year after purchase. After expiration, you can still review score breakdowns from tests you took but cannot access the questions themselves.
Self-assessments can only be taken once but can be reviewed forever, including actual question material.

Only really a concern if you will be in the position of retaking the test next year.

It's been a PITA having to use the comp to access answer keys for the assessment packets.

I never got them, so I don't know the layout. Maybe it's so you can have offline access. I'm just answering the question of would it be illegal to download the online tests that they give you access to for a limited time and continue to use. I believe the answer is yes. Would they come after you for it? I highly doubt it.

A year. Unless you buy the test and then never access it, then it expires after 6 months.

They just don't want you xeroxing the packet and giving it to all the pre-meds you know.

yea thats why they put your name on all the pages on the PDF that you can download when it asks you to. you just can't copy the services on the site as in reproduce the way they offer the online test. if they offer u the pdf to download, its only on paper and they don't care about that.

Testing on pdf form is waaay different than CBT. It isn't worth it to keep the pdfs they have less testing value imo.

Missed a spot buddy...not illegal. You are buying one year of access to the test in CBT format, because as I said the tests have significantly less testing value if they aren't CBT. The AAMC knows this and thats what they bank on.
