Use all the free resources available to you from SDN: articles, guides, expert advising, forums discussions, and school research.
It counts for very little. If the certificate has a fee involved, save your money. Spend your time looking for in-person shadowing.

No one else in admissions has given me indication that adcom faculty fawn over the micro certifications from virtual shadowing.
