E-Submitting today (7/30)! When can I expect to be mailed and Rate my chances

It took me a while cuz I wasn't sure I even wanted to apply this summer (was thinking about doing a gap year) until a couple weeks ago. I got everything together quick (I already had my letters of rec on interfolio) and am ready today. Am I a little late with the 4-6 weeks that aadsas predicts for gpa verification? Will it really take that long right now?

my stats:
MN Resident
oGPA= 3.9
sciGPA= 3.86

AA= 21
PAT = 17
Bio = 19
OC = 20
GC = 19
RC = 25
qR = 20

I am only applying to Minnesota, Marquette, and Iowa as of now. I just ordered that big ADEA book so I'll wait till that gets here so I can analyze it and add more schools (i'll have plenty of time before my app is ready to be sent out anyway, it appears). I'm thinking about doing 7 or 8 schools total, any suggestions based on my stats? I know I'm a relatively competative applicant but my I am applying a bit late and have a crappy PAT score (which Minnesota, my state of residency, values a lot) so what do you guys think. Thanks

It took AADSAS 8 days to calculate my gpa from e-submission (a few weeks ago). So likely you won't have to wait 4-6 weeks. After they calculate your GPA however, they will include you in their next batch mailing, which will be another 1-2 weeks after that. Probably late Aug you'll be out the door.

Hey! I submitted my application exactly one year ago today, and I remember I actually mailed 8/10. I started receiving secondary stuff about a couple days after 8/10 and had interviews by the end of the month to Marquette, Louisville and Creighton. My stats were relatively similar to yours (3.7GPA/20AA/21PAT)... You're fine. However, I'd add more school sooner rather than later. Do a search for OOS friendly schools here on SDN and you won't have to wait for your ADEA book to come.

Thanks for the info. Anyway, I looked through the book and ended up settling on minnesota, marquette, iowa, colorado (my 4 top schools), and creighton, pitt, and boston (safeties). I figure if I can't get into boston (3.3 avg gpa 19.3 avg dat) then I'm not gonna get in anywhere else either. Do you guys think I should add some more or is this good enough?

Apply to privates like USC, Columbia, NYu. You are bound to get into those schools.
