We've discussed boring classes and hardest classes. Let's talk about them classes where we slept and got an A for showing up. In descending order:

1) Cultural Anthropology
2) Ethnic Studies
3) Social Studies
4) Political Studies
5) History (only because of big essays)
6) Creative Writing

Political Science
Sociology
Contemporary solutions to Psychological problems

History of Science
Introduction to Architecture
Philosophy of Science

public speaking--however, this may not be true for all, since people fear speaking in public more than death, according to survey research

Biotechnology and Society
It was a science class for non-science majors. Since I was only a minor I got to take one class of this type. 😛

those sounds pretty boring too - this year i'm enrolled for basketball in the fall and bowling in the spring.

easiest so far would def. have to be my microbio lab since they dont change tests from year to year.

suprisingly not easy class: intro to singing - i worked my butt off for an A- :spam:

Ethics and Society
Intro to International relations

And Easiest of All:

"Music 15: The Beatles"

Where are all the San Diego State kids that get credit for wakeboarding classes? Or the BYU kids that get credit for pottery? Cmon, speak up! 😀

Voice and Diction

My Karate teacher was a hard ass. Gave out a bunch of bad grades just to distance his class from the "easy A" stigma.

I could have had a 4.0 that semester 🙄

I want wakeboarding credit!! That's definitely not fair.

I'd have to say the easiest so far have been my language classes. You actually learn stuff, but it's really laid back. When you drink beers with the professor and other students after class on fridays, it's hard to be stressed about the class.

Also, the natural history and biology of fireflies RULED.

Psychology
Psychobio
History of Religion
History of the American Musical
Statistics
Spanish

The Tragic Spirit (greek tragedy)
Intro to Japaneese Culture
Intro Geopolitics

I think a chimp with a learning disability could have aced these classes

I agree with UCLABruin about statistics - that was by far the easiest required course that I took.

Shakespeare on Film

Not SUPER easy, but our assignments were to watch a movie every week...now that's homework I can live with!

That's funny, I'm taking eithics and society right now and I don't find it to be an easy A. It might not be hard to do well, but I can't see it being an easy A.

Also, nubianprincess, are you that sexy in real life?

the easiest class i ever took in college was ode... sometimes its not the material itslef that makes a class easy, but a professor

Ooh, let's not forget Religious Studies.

Psychology (Intro and Child) and Anthropology 101 (Intro to Human Evolution) were the easiest classes I took; just went to class and took the tests. Intro to Computer Programming was easy, since I was naturally good so the programs were easy and the tests were simple. I took a few classes that seemed like an easy A, and weren't actually difficult, but did require a fair amount of time, such as Japanese Pop Culture and The Music Listening Experience. And there was one really easy German film class.

I wouldn't be on SDN all the time  (just kidding my fellow lounge lizards)

Anyway, some of the classes you guys list make me sorry that I didn't go to a school with a larger science department. We needed to demonstrate sufficient demand just to get classes like immunology 🙄

Intro Psych
Issues in Agriculture
Genetics
Microeconomics
Spanish

i took a class called "visual art in western culture." the class met 3 times per week, for a 10-week quarter. i missed (skipped) five ENTIRE WEEKS of class (including the last three weeks consecutively) and still got an A. really cool teacher, too--an all around pleasant experience! sweet. 😎 👍 👍
