Hello,
I'm looking to possibly have an ear surgery (otoplasty) done. I'm a little nervous about what doctor to get though-- my ears dont just need pinned back. They need shaped differently. I have little/no helical rim. And my antihelix sticks out a bit. So it looks weird and pointy! I'll just say I got called "spock" while growing up. hah. I live in NYC now, and I'm always looking at other peoples ears, too. I can honestly say that I never see anyone with ears like mine. Maybe I'm wrong, but I never see it!!!
The main thing I'm wondering is if this is really a difficult procedure? I want a surgeon who won't mess it up!
I'm originally from Pittsburgh, live in NYC, and also have access to DC (brother lives there). So a good doctor in any of those areas is possible. I've looked at costs, and NYC is waaaay higher. I've been looking in DC and Pittsburgh.
I'm also hoping to find a doctor who has a financing plan, like Capital One Healthcare Finance.

I'd really really really like to do something about this. I think I'm very very attractive, yet, I probably think about this daily. 🙁
