What is the earliest acceptance date you've heard someone receiving from a Texas school. Someone told me today that I may be able to start my senior year holding an acceptance if I apply early enough. I wasn't aware that they notified anyone that early.

That "someone", by the way, is one of my advisers. Just wanted to clear that up; I didn't just hear it from some guy on the street.

October 15 for out-of-state, MD/PhD, and Early Decision programs.

November 15 for normal people. Different times of the day for different schools (and different methods).

bump anybody?

if its november at the earliest for a resident, he was sorely mistaken.

Yup, he sure was. You'll have to wait until november if you're a resident:

nope. It means nothing. They can start oos acceptances tomorrow, but it doesn't mean they will. Absolutely, though, they will not reject you. They don't do that in these parts!!
