earliest DAT test date?

Hey I just joined the forums, heard from alot of friends its good =D
anyways, I havent signed up for the DAT yet cause of money issues, but i am wondering from the time you pay, whats the earlier u can take the test? The website said 6 weeks??

I think the earliest is whatever time slot is open when you register for it.

Are there people who can get in like a week or isit average more around 1 month?

I'd say take the date in advance 2-3 months (or more) depending on how much time you think you'll need to study. This would give you a dealine to work towards, and of course you can always reschedule for a small fee. It is possible to get a time within a week; a couple of my pre-med friends did with the MCAT, but if you are unlucky you might have to wait longer than you'd like to.

I agree with ushaseos, set a date so you know you have a deadline to meet; otherwise you'll procrastinate and keep pushing the date back in your mind
