I have a few questions about this choice I see most schools have the option to submit and get a decision quicker
I guess has anyone used this before? Pros? Cons?

I think if you apply to the EDP, you must go to that school if you get accepted.

Just curious, what is the benefit of this?

Some EDP programs do not require an MCAT. MSU's osteopathic school has an EDP program you can apply for your freshman year and if you perform above a certain academic level, you are automatically accepted. Benefit obviously being that you don't have to take the MCAT. One obvious con is that you are locked into that school from freshman year of undergrad.

There's those kinds to lock in freshmen and there are others that will auto-accept high-stat applicants with a commitment to their school. I can't see why anyone would agree to either.
