I know that for the MCAT its better to take it early and apply early which gives you a better advantage. Is it the same way with the Dental school application? Is taking the DAT early and having an early application give you an advantage?

After 6 weeks of processing of your application by AADSAS, and 2 weeks of processing your DAT scores by ADA, both will reach dental schools on July 1. There were more than a few schools handing out interviews at the end of July. Its easier to get an interview then when competing with a few hundred students, then waiting till the end of summer or fall when you will be competing with a few thousand students.
Do you have to be this early? No, but once again this would be the best-case scenario.
