What is considered an "early" application for DO school?

Sometime in June, and early July. Although, I believe the DO cycle tends to be a bit longer than the MD one.

From what i've been told, the beginning of august, then after that it's not "early."

Ack! No early is June, period. If we've said you need to apply early, it means like June 1st! No later than July 1st!
