Hi everyone,

I'm new here to SDN but I really appreciate all the feedback everyone gives eachother. This summer is only my sophomore summer, but I don't have much of a load this summer so I am going to start studying somewhat for the DAT to get a feel of everything. Any suggestions on where to start? I don't want to buy prep books too early if they go out of date by the time i begin to actually study. Thanks!

P.S I have finished bio and all the main classes

I took the DAT the summer between my sophomore and junior years and am VERY glad that I did. I think you should actually go ahead and take it this summer instead of putting it off another year, especially since you have all of the pre-reqs. Why wait? Just doing the application is stressful enough, and I wouldn't want to have to compound that with the stress of studying for the DAT as well.

Check my breakdown, it's in my signature!

Go ahead and take your DAT this summer. If you do bad then you can always retake it next summer. I have seen people who took DAT in summer between junior and senior, they struggle so much. Furthermore, if you do bad then you have to wait 90 days before retaking. This might cause your application to get delayed.
I took my DAT in winter break of junior year. Check my breakdown for materials that you might want to use.
