Early Decision Program at MUSC/USC?

Does anyone know anything about EDP at USC/MUSC? I am planning to call the dean on Monday to ask about my chances, I'm also hoping to find if any of you had any experience or insight dealing with these two schools.

BUMP! I'm just looking for inside information on perhaps how competitive the EDP program is at MUSC or USC--for example, does applying EDP really give me a better chance to get in?

Or, if I were able to get in normally, would this mean I should get in EDP too? Or is EDP only for those with very high stats? Would they be evil enough to reject my EDP b/c they are looking only to admit higher caliber students early?

Questions I often wonder at. I called today to ask the admissions counseler (the dean of admissions was out of town) but did not receive very definite answers.
