So I'm in a situation where I am reapplying for PT school and I want to do early decision with a school I was waitlisted in my first time applying. I am currently enrolled to retake physics at a cc and depending on the outcome of early decision, I may or may not withdraw from this physics class.

Should I still input this class in my coursework/institutions attended section, knowing that I may potentially drop out of the class? Thanks for the help!

Yep! Go ahead and put it in the section for future courses.. Honestly, the "planned" course make no difference on admission decisions other than showing you can complete all required pre reqs in time. Schools can't base decisions on what grades they think you will get. I had 4 planned classes but ended up dropping all of them when I got in my 2nd choice school early (I was going to take them and apply to later deadline schools if I didn't get in my #1 or #2).

Thanks for your reply! If I drop out of the course after early decision, will I have to update anything on my applications? Also, do I need to submit a transcript request form/transcipt from the institution right now? I am enrolled in a school I never attended, so it's a little confusing because I hypothetically don't have a transcript yet lol..

No, you do not submit any transcript now if you haven't taken any classes. No, you don't need to do academic update at all if you don't take/finish more classes. (Just make sure you do drop out before the official date. If you receive a Withdrawal-passing or whatever, you would have to report that).

Thanks so much for the clarification. Do I still need to do the Transcript request form though? There's an orange icon next to the college I just inputed. It says this:

"Note: Please be sure to print out the Transcript Request Form for each of your institutions attended by clicking the

icons below. Failure to include this form with your transcripts may increase the processing time of your documents once they arrive at PTCAS."

When I applied I could get that form later too (i.e. For academic update). So you don't need it now if you aren't requesting anything
