Early interview by MCP

What does an early interview mean? Is it just a function of getting your application in early? Does anyone know how many students are given acceptances from MCP from the number interviewed?

MCP just started interviewing last week. I believe they call it an "early interview" if you interview within the next two weeks. They interview ~1500 and accept ~600

That would be great if an early interview is a good thing at MCP... I received my interview invite letter the last week of Sept, but was unable to schedule the intervew until next week....
