I just interviewed at AZCOM last week on the first day of their interviews for this year. Does anybody really know if this plays a role with regard to advantage/disadvantage? I loved the school and would really love to attend, but have been wracking my brains thinking of all the things I "should have said/could have said" and am looking for any point of reference that might make me feel better about my chances. Thanks.

The advantage lies in the fact that you can be reviewed more than someone who interviews later. Also, there are more open seats than will be available later. You are interviewing for the 150 or so seats, when someone else who interviews later will be interviewing for maybe 30. Which would you rather have?
Good Luck and congratulations.
Keep your fingers crossed for those of us who don't have any interviews yet.

I have a similar question. Does being one of the first to interview mean that they seemed to have liked you a lot (if you were assigned a certain date)? Or is it just random, where a lot of people all around the same level get a random day near each other? Thanks in advance for your opinions!

It means that you look good enough to them on paper to be able to interview you. It doesnt tell you how much they really like you, youre just the first cuz you applied earlier than others that apply later. If they aren't too sure about your numbers like if you just meet the min. requirements, or they are not sure if they will want you because it depends on the quality of the students that apply later and how you compare with them, then, they will put your app. on hold and review it later. that has happened to me!

Definitly good! I feel that interviewing early is a huge plus. Every admissions person I have spoken to agrees. Especially because of rolling admissions which are at all osteopatic schools I can think of.
