We're beginning to set up our 4th year rotations and I'm curious what the interview season for early match subspecialties like uro, ent, and neurosurg is.

I'm mostly interested in uro right now, though things change all the time. Just want to make sure I'm not doing an away rotation while I should be interviewing for a spot.

Thanks.

I matched ENT, obviously.

My application was in by mid-August, and I was interviewing in mid October. My last interview was December 7th or something. The bulk were November, of course.

for URO - applications start being accepted on september 1st. have it in close to this date. Interviews are generally from Oct 15th until Dec 15th, with most being in November. Take Nov. off, you can manage the oct and dec interviews while on most(understanding/easy) rotations

if you want to do an away rotation in a surgical subspecialty, I would try to finish it by september.

do you mean finish it by the end of sept? or finish it before sept starts?
