How 17 fx constraints for esophagus? >70 Gy seems like it'd cause serious esophagitis

Hard to know how to approach this. A cheat sheet I have for reminders for instance has an esophagus Dmax of 50 Gy for the 70 Gy in 10 regimen but Dmax of <105% for 50-60 Gy in 5 fx as per RTOG 0813. With that in mind, I'm not terribly worried about a Dmax of 70 in 17. Considering those schema, makes sense to me to try for 70-72 dmax and 51 Gy to <1 cc or something. As medgator said, no constraints on the trial.

Don't do full slice with that dose, would be fine as a point dose I'm guessing. Hollow serial organ
