So I just submitted my application today to AADSAS, finally. I am worried that this is considered too late and that I have already kinda screwed my chances b/c I know it takes aadsas about 4-8weeks(i didnt realize it would take them that long) they said to submit everything to the schools. so should I be concerned about having submitted my app this late????

if anyone has an opinion about this, let me know!! : )

You should probably put this in pre-dental rather than DAT discussions.

I wouldn't say it's terribly late right now...
remember that SDN-ers tend to be really early, you're probably around the average of turning in your app

it's still going to be more important to have a good application than turning it early; early submission just gives you a bit of an edge

When it comes to SDN, you are late. But we are extremely early. Just FYI, my friends applying to dental school who are not on SDN have not even started studying for the DAT let alone know the AADSAS procedures. You are early in the long run. But do not wait any longer!

For example, Ohio State considers the application early in July. So even though it takes 4-6 weeks, it will be there August. Not late at all!
