In USA IM can get 120-150 as a hospitalist, on the base of 150 take home is 8000 pm,how is Canada especially Ontario.Is it worth doing one extra year in Canada to enter as a IM specialist.:idea:

Why are you worry about money ? You have to be sincere with your patients and do not look for their money if you are in medical profession.

Most current American grads have government loans of $140,000 at 6.8% interest, and at least an additional $60,000 in private loans, at 7-9%.

So yes, we are "worry about money".

$$$ is a concern, a big one! not that we crave for money, but because many of us are in some serious debts when we graduate. no one wants to have to carry the debts for years.

when we graduate, many of us would wanna start a family, and some of us have to financially support our parents too. $$$$ is a big big big concern! when we become a specialist and debt-free, then talk about being generous to us.
