can you take and use earplugs during the DAT?

I tried yesterday...no dice. Instead, I got to wear these gigantic, uncomfortable construction ear phones (the ones they wear when they jackhammer).

Dude, I wanted to look good for the hot chick next to me taking her GRE.

They helped a little. Earplugs are the best, though.

I was able to take in earplugs for my DAT. I comboed the earplugs with the earphones and couldnt hear a thing.

i got to use my own earplugs as well! it really helps because some neighboring test takers might be typing which can get pretty distracting. good luck!

A few testing centers do have earplugs for you to use. Ask them if they won't let you use yours.

avoid using those big ass headphones they are heavy as hell and they will hurt your ears after a while.

I had to go on shifts of wearing/not wearing cause they were so damn uncomfortable.
