A few schools, PCOM, LECOM, Touro, Midwest, have satallite campuses that a relatively new. I was wondering if these schools were somewhat easier to get accepted to, and also if any had stats on them

Also, anyone know of any other new osteopathic schools opening soon?

I wouldn't consider Midwestern's Arizona campus (AZCOM) easy. They have been open for a while, and it is pretty popular school.

True. I guess I meant the really new ones like LECOM in FL and PCOM in GA and Touro NV.

Didnt they all come along in 04?

As someone posted on another thread a couple days ago, AZCOM's average gpa (3.4?) and mcat (9.0), are amongst the highest of DO schools. I believe this was out of the USNews 2006 rankings guide.

Is there a list somewhere on this forum containing the average GPA and MCAT for all (most) of the schools. I know, do a search. I did several and got too many results many to read through. Was wondering if any of the vetrans on here knew if there was one before I sift though each school individually.

I haven't come across it yet. However, I believe all the schools (DO/MD) are listed in the USNews 2006 guide with gpa and mcat. FYI, some of the schools with branch campuses group the gpa and mcat together.

i think it might be easier anywhere if you apply really early cuz then your deposit is due earlier, so they'll be more likely to accept you and fill up their class sooner...as far as the easiest goes, you might want to look into the schools which are in cold, rural places.

Im not looking for the easiest, just was wondering how much different the admissions criteria is for a satallite campus that has only been around for a year. Probably pretty similar to the main i guess.
