Can someone help me out and give me some schools that would be considered "backup" schools?

It all depends on your stats. Someone else's back up school may be out of reach for you. You just have to take a lot of time out to look at the pharmcas school pages for gpa/pcat requirements and decide for yourself.

Look into schools that have a fairly new pharmacy program.

not sure if its considered "easy" but I got into UH Hilo Pharmacy (a newer school) faster than I imagined, received an interview offer the day after I submitted my supplemental. Then found out I was accepted a week after my interview. But my interview also went very well. Accepted on Dec 17, 2010.

Belmont, UIC

UIC is NOT easy to get into. They had about 1500 apps for about 200 spots last year. average pcat was 80-90 Comp. average GPA was 3.5. I know people with 4.0 and 90 PCATs who didn't get in. But I suppose it would be "easy to get into" for wmw with his stats..

Any pre-candidate or candidate status schools would be easy to get into. However pharmacy schools in general aren't that hard to get into anyways.
Some easier to get into fully accredited schools would be South, Lecom at Erie PA, etc.

Although I'm sure many will disagree. I don't think ANY pharmacy is really all that easy to get into. You never know exactly what a school or ADCOM is looking for. Yes you may have the highest GPA and PCAT out of all that apply, but there are many other components that go into such. Also to keep in mind where one may say "it isn't that hard to get into pharmacy schools in general", you have to take into account your own personal experiences and not to be misdirected or mislead into thinking that it is an easy road for everyone.

I wish you the best of luck though, all I can say is if you have the drive and passion, and know this is what you want, the school no matter its "toughness" will hold you back 🙂

I'm just speaking from my own experiences, they called me the day of the interview and the whole process seemed to go very quickly, even faster than Belmont which is one of the "newer schools"... I just felt like it wasn't much work involved there, the app wasn't too bad except for reentering the coursework part, the interview day was short and sweet, no essays, no exams, just a short interview which was very chill. Overall, the process was uncomplicated, no hassles or stress really; thats all I was saying.

No essays now? That's a recent development.
