Does it matter what science courses(other than the pre reqs) to boost my gpa for med school? For example instead of biochemistry , taking chemistry with aids(easy at my school) or astronomy?
Because I need to improve my gpa and I don't need Mobio or biochem for my major but I do need a higher gpa, would it be wise to take intro science courses and easy sciences to boost rather than the UD's?
Honestly do med schools care as long as your gpa high? I mean a 3.7 with easy science courses and a 3.7 with hard one s is still a 3.7...

Ad coms do not go through each class you have taken and judge them. Your GPA is the only thing that matters. That said, dont skimp out on O-Chem, they usually use that as their guide.

Not true! We look at everything you taken. I personally am not impressed with people who take lots of ecology coursework, feeling that those are "fluff' sciences. However, this isn't the type of thing that will prevent you from getting an interview...and it's never been an issue discussed at my own AdCom meetings. Now, it is important that no matter what you take, that you do well in it.

I never took Astronomy but think it would be fine to have in your packet.

You're saying contradictory things. On one hand you see everything but on the other you don't do anything about it at meetings or affect who gets an interview.

Goro, my predicament is that I got 1 C and 2 C+s which makes my sgpa at 3.3, so I'm planning my course plan with doable courses however, those grades I got were in intro to bio 1 and 2 and intro to chem 1 (due to immaturity and lack of studying)
Would you recommend to retake those classes and get A s or continue to take easier science courses

I've heard this a lot, people tell me in the end its the numbers that count
