Hi everyone, I have an ebay store and have been selling stuff for almost 5 years as a top-rated seller. I have learned a lot of management and communication skills through taking satisfied customer care. Is it a good idea to list this experience as one of my ECs? Thanks for any input.

what do you sell? (in case it's something i want to buy 😀)

Won't hurt, doubt it will help, either.

I wouldn't milk this one too hard, though. Don't feature it in your PS - "what I learned from selling **** on Ebay" - you know?

put it on, it shows that you have initiate and a business head.

Do it. It's unique, is something the adcoms will remember, and says something about you.

P.S. how did you get into the business of e-bay selling/where do you get your stock from? Just curious. I've always wondered where some e-bay sellers get their stuff from, since they sell at prices close to the straight-from-manufacturer prices.

HECK YES. I sell Sodium metal under the brand name explosivemetals.com and it came up in my interview. It sets me apart as unique from the other 40 people they have to see that day. Then when they fill out the paperwork they don't think about nameless interviewee #34 they are thinking about that successful businessman.

O, and yes - I got in 1st round

Is there a large market for sodium in bulk??!? lol

How cool! I thought I was the only one... I definitely don't have as much experience as you, but the year was fun. I think I will list it, but still debating on whether to include it in the PS or not (have 2 versions).
