Not like any other applicants, I don't have decent amount of EC.

All I did so far was teaching at Sunday school, and band leader at my

church.

I shadowed more than 100 hours and volunteered at GP more than 700

hours, however, volunteering at GP does not count as the real volunteer....

since it is not non-profit organization.

Unfortunately, I haven't done any research......... so I am very worried

becuause I am an international student...

Eventhough I applied 20 schools, I don't really know whether I can get

into the D school or not... what do you guys think?

you can't get in without research

are you serious? I already spent more than $2000 for the application fees....🙁

I was just kidding pal....

Don't worry about research.... between the 20 schools you've applied to, most of the interviews you'll attend will turn into acceptances.

4 buddies of mine got into d schools without any research exp. Don't sweat it.

Don't worry about research! Some schools, like Columbia and Harvard, seem to care more about it but that's because their students do a lot of research too. Other schools don't care at all. Just because there's a section for research doesn't mean it'll hurt you if you can't fill it in. Plus, schools must understand that as an international student, your chances of conducting research might be more limited. I think you should focus on making the most of your limited ECs (prepare good stories to tell)
