ECFMG Certificate rush?

Hello,

I'm Here in the US from an international medical school about to start Residency, and would like to know if there is a way to get my ECFMG certificate earlier? I'm scheduled to graduate in Feb of '08 and likely obtain my ECFMG certificate around April. Though, I've been getting interviews that require me to have this before the ranking. Is there any way to work around to this so that I may be able to consider these positions? Thanks in advance!

You can't get your ECFMG certificate until you have a diploma. You can't get a diploma until you graduate, which will be in February. Since the ROL deadline is in February, you will not have your ECFMG cert this application cycle. There is nothing you can do about this, as far as I know.

Some programs will interview you as long as you will have your cert by the time PGY-1 starts. Some will not.
