Anyone know any good sites/books that allow u to analyze an ECG afterwards......the assigned textbooks are sooo unclear and dont go step by step in a single ecg analysis....

Dale Dubin's Rapid Interpretation of EKGs is a favorite in my class and classes above me...check it out. It's very basic at first but it really helps that he spells out everything for people like me who don't immediately get EKGs.

Another one I've used is "ECG Workout" by Jane Huff. It has something like 500 practice strips with answers. 👍

I have found that reading EKGs is pretty complicated and there really is an art to it. I think it takes lots of practice. The Dubin book is good. We had several lectures through 3rd year to help with a system for reading them, I thought those were more helpful than the book.

During my ED rotation we are required to do an EMT ride along. The EMT was told me that he would put his ability to read EKGs against any cardiologist. He said he had 20 hrs of EKG training and even knew how to read a 12-lead not just a 3-lead.
