ecology from bio section

Hi. I was just wondering if anyone has any good advice for studying the ecology portion of the bio section. I was looking through the kaplan book and they mostly have examples. Is it important to be familiarize with theses examples or just knowing the definitions and key points be enough. Would appreciate any advice. Thankyou.

just know the definitions and concepts and be able to apply it on the real test.

agreed...know the energy/mass pyramids, succession order/terms, and the nitrogen cycle...you should know these especially well.
