What if an applicant was the person who has to keep track of hours and the program he volunteered at does not have a director, what should the person do?

For example, I did private tutoring in high school. Now, I might be doing private tutoring in college. I am ultimately the one who keep track of hours. Who should I put down as the contact person?

just put someone else who can vouch that you did that activity. Or don't put down any contact person--I did that for several activities and I turned out just fine.

It's not like they track those people down and call them to make sure that you did whatever you said you did.

Wow, this is your fourth EC related thread on the first page and you're only a freshman. To Answer your question, though, the search function povided plenty of adequate answers.

Um, why are you worrying about who you should put down as the contact person for activities on AMCAS as a college freshman? These are frivolous details.

It's a bit early, but I actually think it's a great idea to keep track of things from freshman year. Wish I did this... now I have to trudge through memory lane thinking of the things that I'll have to put on my app, besides my main EC's. If I kept/keep a running list of activities & contact people, filling out the app would be that much easier.

Just don't overdo it OP, but good start. And sometimes it's not possible to have a clear-cut contact. I think they should understand that. 👍
