I feel like I keep checking for IIs every day and so far I've heard WVU and NYU have sent out. I feel like this wouldn't be a bad forum for people to collectively state where they've gotten an II throughout 2025-2026 cycle so everybody waiting in the wings has some solace.

The predental moderators will flag which schools have begun sending out II's in the school-specific thread headers. That's a lot of work for the premed moderators, but it relies on people being timely telling us when they got their II's and not wait until a week later.

Hit the "Watch" button on all the schools you applied to and you will get notifications of new messages.
Will knowing "someone" got an interview help you, or make you worry more?
It's a long waiting game and if you know you have submitted all the elements of your application, patient waiting is your task now.

And let me remind everyone that II's are not issued in chronological order based on when the application was submitted or the secondaries submitted. You may be lucky and your application is the first one read out of 30 assigned to a specific reader and you get an interview just days after being complete while someone else is the 30th and read 2 weeks later. Someone even less lucky will be assigned to a reader who tends to get backlogged and takes twice as long to get through the assigned 30 applications so a recommendation to interview comes 4 weeks from now.

Another thing to keep in mind is that we might identify the first 200 to be interviewed meaning that we are booked now until October -- but if we make IIs with October dates, it is likely that things will come up, and applicants will ask to reschedule making more work for the office staff and maybe leaving dates unfilled. Therefore, smart schedulers don't sent the interview invites until about 2-4 weeks before the interview. Given that so many are on zoom now, it isn't necessary to book a hotel and transportation so booking 6-8 weeks out as was done 10 years ago isn't necessary any more.

Can you please just copy and paste this in every school specific thread? I am fighting for my life in there haha
