I completely agree with Minghoo, in that you need to find things that make you happy and sound interesting. In the beginning of college, I found EC's that thought would make me resume look good. But then my attention faded fast. I was involved in a few boards through college, big brothers/big sisters, tutored, TA'ed (tried to work for teachers so they could get to know me better), etc... I also worked at a hospital as a research assistant for a summer and eventually was able to publish with a few of the doctors. And now I have a full time job as a clinical research associate and volunteer at a local clinic. However, as you may be able to see, I was more interested in becoming a doctor in college than a pharmacist. So, perhaps what I did wasn't the best path in becoming a pharmacist. I haven't worked in a pharmacy, but have shadowed a clinical pharmacist. My opinion, do what makes you happy and then, not only will you not lose interest, the experience may spark something greater inside of yourself. That sure was deep this early in the morning.
