Is volunteering in surgery from 2004- 2005 and pediatrics 2006- present with research experience in medicine (summer May -Aug) enough for health care related ECs..should I try for more?

My guess would be if you had time then yes, the more the better. But what i do know, i didnt even know what "OB" stands for. how did you volunteer in surgery?

I really don't think there is a defined answer for whether or not one has done "enough" volunteering in a medically related field. I think the question you're going to need to answer is what have you learned/benefitted from these volunteer experiences and how has it affected your outlook?
