I was wondering what the average amount of ECs to list is. I have 11 right now and I'm not really sure how significant they are or if it'll just come off as padding.

+ Volunteer at 2 nursing homes- 1 for a summer, 1 over a few semesters so far
+Research assistant- 1 summer
+ DJ -3 semesters so far
+ Volunteer at on-campus clinic - 1 semester so far
+President of animal rights group- been a member for a few years, president for 1 yr
+Member of the ASM group on campus- 1 year so far
+Homeless shelter volunteering-1 semester
+Middle school math tutor for middle school children- almost a year

Should I include job stuff like..
Auditor/Payroll assistant - I have been doing this for 4 years over the summer or winter breaks
Secretary- for 1 summer


As for future stuff..I plan to volunteer in a hospital this summer and I am gonna be taking an EMT class in the fall.

I'd definitely list the volunteering in the hospital if you end up doing it.

I would include the job stuff too. That shows that you're a hard worker and you have time management skills.
