For humans, it reminds me of the matrix but to each their own.

For livestock production, it will probably prove to be very lucrative. Right now, I think cows live for about 2 years prior to slaughter. I bet someone will figure out how to mass-produce them in pods so they never leave and can be turned quickly into steaks and hamburgers. Same with chickens and other animals that people eat. I'm not saying it's ethical but I bet it's bound to happen.
