Dear SDN-Community,

I currently do some research on electrodermal measurements, but I am unfortunately not an expert as I only need the "basics" for my studies.

Now I am struggeling with some concepts that I do not understand.

I know how to categorize SCA (Skin Conductance Activity), SRA (Skin Resistance Activity) and SPA (Skin Potential Activity) in terms of "endosomatic" or "exosomatic" and I can name some scopes and differences between them.
But I do not understand where to place EDA (Electrodermal Activity)?

Is there anybody out there, that can help me? I need to know what the difference between EDA and all the rest (SCA, SPA, SRA) is. How does it differ from all the S**-Activities? What is the scope for EDA?

Thank you very much for all your efforts!

Sebastian

(P. S. I really hope, that I found the right forum [Clinical Psychology] for my question)

In my research, we refer to EDA as a general term to describe changes in skin conductance in response to changes in sweat production on the index and middle finger. We do not make the distinction between endo and exosomatic, but use EDA as an all-encompassing term for levels and/or responses. Good question.
